It was shown in local and national AACA shows and was always a winner. Beautiful authentic “apple” green, with black top. Interior was finished as close to original as possible with new wood graining on trim and steering wheel. Interior is 'apple green" and cream and it has black carpet. Engine rebuilt and runs beautifully. The restoration was to celebrate our 50th anniversary as this was the same style ad color car we had as our get-away car. I am the second owner of this numbers-matching car. It was a gift from my wife for my 50th birthday (yes, I love her very much!). Original engine professionally rebuilt, .030 over bored, new pistons, rods,etc., heads rebuilt. Transmission overhauled in 2000. The car was professionally restored over time from 2000-2002. Garage-kept, driven on weekends, kept clean, used for cruising and car shows.
Driven to Detroit for the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise in 2011 with no problems. The astute out there will also note one of the photos was taken near the Chilhowee Dam on US Rt 129 near Deals Gap in TN. You can take this car anywhere.
Paint color is Tawny Gold, is in good condition, not perfect, a few chips here and there. Undercoating has kept rust at bay. I've put about 20,000 miles on the car in 13+ years. I would call this car a Condition 3 car on the Hagerty Valuation Guide.
I've had a lot of fun with this car, but it's time to find a new home for it. Let's make a deal!
